The Northern Circuit is the most up-to-date and longest course on Mount Kilimanjaro.
It starts in the West at the Londorossi Gate and follows a similar way as the Lemosho course for the initial two days.
After the intersection, the Shira level the way veers north close to Lava Tower, following the more Northern Circuit rather than the more famous Southern Circuit through Barranco Valley The course circles around the calmer northern inclines toward the east side of the mountain.
The Northern Circuit is longer than different paths on Kilimanjaro, taking at least eight or nine days to finish.
The multi-day journey avoids the extra acclimatization day that is generally spent at Shira Camp 2 and proceeds straight on to Moir Camp.

Today you leave Moir Valley behind and continue in the alpine desert zone. Your night will be spent at a lower altitude than the night before.
Make your way across the alpine desert, as your trial ends joining the Rongai route where once again your night will be spent at a slightly lower altitude than the night before.
Journey across the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo.
Around midnight start for the summit to Gilman’s Point (5681m) and then continue to Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descend Barafu Camp for a short break and later continue to Millennium Camp or Mweka Camp for overnight.
Today is the final day on the mountain; enjoy your breakfast before descending to Mweka gate passing through the forest zone. Upon arrival at the gate complete park formalities and tipping ceremony with your support team. Our driver will then transfer you to Moshi.

Thanks again Francis
And thanks for the Masai blankets
The trip was absolutely perfect! I could use all the adjectives to describe each moment of it, but I would still run out of them. We LOVED every moment of it.
We had the most fantastic trip! It was full of adventure, excitement, some scary bits (lions in the night), and beauty.
We truly enjoyed the trip, and really appreciate your help in organizing the trip, and then modifying the activities for me at last moment. You were helpful and so friendly through the process,
Just wanted to let you know, we had a really great trip! Our flights worked out. Our guide from Timeless Travel was college educated in wildlife management and he was excellent.
Thank you for your contribution to this and for assigning your best guide to this group – it obviously worked!
Hello Francis,
Back to France after a great Tanzania week.
