Climb Kilimanjaro Machame Route, known as the loveliest of Kilimanjaro traveling courses.

This hop-on Africa's most noteworthy mountain drives you through wonderful timberland territory.

The course is demanding and fit for more daring climbers.

Convenience on this Kilimanjaro journey is enjoying nature in portable tents.

The Machame course is typically finished in at least 6 days/5 evenings on the mountain, with the evenings previously, then after the fact the trip being spent in an inn.

The trip starts at Machame Gate in the Mt Kilimanjaro rainforest and rises through the woods on the South Western side of the mountain until it arrives at the Shira Plateau, where you will appreciate shocking perspectives across the Shira Plateau, Western Breach, and Kibo.

Day 1 - Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Depart Moshi to Machame gate, upon arrival at the park gate complete park formalities. Start your trek through lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro while enjoying the diverse flora and fauna of the rain forest.

Day 2 - Marangu Gate to Shira Camp 1

Your trek today includes climbing up a steep ridge to a small cliff known as a picnic site. Proceed with a gentle ascent to Shira Camp with a spectacular view of Kibo peak, Shira plateau, and Meru peak if cloudless. You may also visit Shira cave after a short rest at the camp.

Day 3 - Shira Camp 1 to Barranco Camp

Proceed with a gentle ascent traversing southwest of Kilimanjaro passing through Lava Tower. Later descend to Great Barranco Valley for your overnight. Barranco camp is considered the most beautiful of all camps on Kilimanjaro. Hike to Lava tower camp gives climbers benefits for their bodies to adjust to high altitudes.

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Today your trek involves a steep climb up the eastern wall where you may have a spectacular view of Kilimanjaro. You then proceed with a steep exit to the Barranco wall. This trail continues down to Karanga Valley. You will then proceed with your trek on the empty and dry landscape to Barafu Camp.

Day 5 - Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp

Around midnight begins a steep climb over loose volcanic scree. A slow and steady pace will take you towards Stella point, take a short rest at Stella point (5685m), proceed with your ascent to Uhuru peak (5895m). You will probably encounter snow on your way to the peak. While at Uhuru peak you may have a great view of the Crater rim if cloudless. Spend few minutes on the top of the mountain and then descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before you proceed to Mweka Camp to wind up your day.

Day 6 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi

Today is the final day on the mountain; enjoy your breakfast before descending to Mweka gate passing through the forest zone. Upon arrival at the gate complete park formalities and tipping ceremony with your support team. Our driver will then transfer you to Moshi.
