Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is the most noticeable park for a Tanzania safari and it is the place where the fantastic Serengeti Wildebeest Migration can be seen consistently. The Park is situated in Northern Tanzania and is lined up with the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. The Serengeti-Masai Mara environment is among the most established biological system on the planet and it is home to an enormous number of natural life found nowhere else on earth.

The Serengeti is a tremendous open plain. It is the core of a mind-boggling stretch and pulsates with life in an interminable yearly mood. It always sees a group of millions of gnu and the most popular of extraordinary hunters, lions, and spotted hyenas on the forefront to be found on the earth.

The Wildebeest Migration is a great big spectacle too. There is no genuine start or end to a wildebeest's excursion. Its life is an interminable journey, a consistent quest for food and water. Their lone start is right at the time of birth. An expected 100,000 wildebeest calves are brought into the world during a six-week time frame early every year – generally between late January and mid-March.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit the Serengeti is still a question as the wildlife richness in the park is undisputed and can be seen throughout the year. Between November to mid-August, the migration of herds is in Tanzania’s Serengeti plains before starting to move towards Kenya’s Masai Mara in mid-August and September. Possibly this is one of the best times to visit the Serengeti National Park.
